1 Corinthians 16:13-14 is our family verse. "Watch, stand firm in the faith,  be brave,  be strong. Let all you do be done in love."

Rebecca: I am married to Brian and homeschool our 4 elementary aged kids. I serve others by helping them master gymnastics and have an amazing job as a laboratory technician at Gothenburg Health. I am passionate about foster care and family/children ministries.

Brian: I am married to Rebecca with 4 kids and a dog. I grew up in this church and youth group and want to help students have a fun and impactful experience here. I have farmed since moving back from college. I love movies, board games, and beating my kids in Mario Kart.

I accepted Jesus as my Lord & Savior at 18, Previously, I was a sinner and had rejection issues. My bio-father left our family before I was born. This scar had left me with a feeling of rejection. My Step-Father was the only one I knew as my Dad. Even though my family loved me, I never felt like I fit in, I wanted to be loved just for me. I looked for acceptance in all the wrong places.

I met my then future husband at church and he would bring me each week. After meeting his family, I felt loved and accepted by them, by just being me., and after only a short time.  I saw in them the love of Jesus: the love I so desperately needed. While we were dating I accepted the Lord as my Savior and was baptized later as a profession of my faith! The Lord graciously bestowed on me a wonderful husband who loves me deeply, 3 beautiful children, grandchildren.

It has been a blessing being able to teach others Scriptural truths on Sunday and Wednesday's. I have been set free from my past immoral chains, through the help of others. I know am filled with joy and expressible love to each others the same. It’s been a long and precious journey of growing in Christ ever since!
